To help meet other political activists across the UK, who use twitter, I have set up a dummy account @UKactivist. This account will not tweet, but is just to form a list of UK activists on twitter.
If you are a UK activist of any kind, just follow that account, so others can then follow you.
Some people are worried about being on such a list, which I understand, though think it is silly, as if you are an activist of any kind on twitter, others can already see what you are doing. This will make it easier for us to find each other, but I do not see any increased risk with being on this list. (Clearly, if you are worried, this list is not for you.)
There is power in numbers, provided we are talking. If you think this is a good idea, please RT a link to this page, so the word spreads. Also, from time to time, the followers of the @UKactivist are added to the twitter list @trakgalvis/ukactivists.
